Stunning Landscapes and One Special Hotel

Once upon a time, when life gave me an excessive amount of lemons, I didn’t think to make lemonade. Like any sensible person…my first thought instead was escapism.

The ultimate destination back then for my escape was Patagonia. Fantasies of dramatic, remote landscapes, breathtaking scenery with mountain tops that reached the sky, and the idea of unmatched serenity offered me a reprieve from my daily life at home. Living in a high-energy, highly populated city like New York, I also eagerly welcomed the prospect of seeing fewer human beings.

Nearly a year later, when I managed to land in Patagonia with the opportunity to greet these visions in real life, they did not disappoint.

Lately I’ve been designing itineraries for clients traveling to Patagonia for the upcoming period between Christmas and New Years, during our winter but their summer, an ideal time to travel to Argentina or Chile (as Patagonia sprawls across both countries) and to make the most of the time outdoors…
